The State has been given more time to complete a book of evidence in the case of a former Ireland hockey player, who is accused of multiple breaches of company law.
The Director of Public Prosecutions has already decided Ms. Carey will be tried by judge and jury at Circuit Court level.
However, before the case can proceed, she must first be served with a book of evidence at District Court level, where the judge today granted prosecutors six more weeks to do so.
Ms Carey wasn’t required to attend today, so in her absence the case was adjourned until the 28th of March.
