It’s been some year for Kilkenny woman Katelyn Cummins.
Last August the Ballyouskill native was crowned the International Rose of Tralee while representing Laois, the other side of the border area she’s from.
Then she captured even further hearts by taking part in the RTÉ programme Dancing with the Stars and was a clear contender for the glitterball from the off.
Last night the apprentice electrician won the contest outright with her professional partner pro partner Leonardo Lini.
Katelyn says; ‘Life is not real, every day it surprises me. What a year. Two massive wins in one year. I would have never imagined that this would be my life.’
