Ciara Everard and Rose-Anne Galligan ran season’s bests but still missed out on the final of the women’s 800 metres at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in the Polish city of Sopot.
Everard ran a time of 2.03.69.
The Kilkenny woman was expecting better:
