Kilkenny’s Mary Fitzgerald is minutes away from her only competition of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games as she takes on the Women’s Shot Put – F40 Final.
The Gowran Athletic Club athlete won a bronze medal at the 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships and then competed in her first Paralympics Games in Tokyo 2020, where she finished 6th.
