Kilkenomics announce full programme for 2015
Organisers of a local festival that combines economics and comedy have announced their opening show is already sold out.
Just one week after it was revealed that former Greek Finance Minister, Yanis Varoufakis, will be speaking at this year’s festival, organisers have confirmed that the opening event with him is now completely sold out.
The full programme of events for Kilkenomics – which is now in its 6th year – was launched today.
This year will be one of their busiest festival to date – comprising more than 40 events over the 4 days.
Among the economists and comedians attending this year are Des Bishop, Richard Murphy, Max Keiser and Vikas Nath.
And the topics up for discussion include ‘How the Mass Movement of People will change everything you know’ and ‘Is Obama’s Legacy Donald Trump?’
Kilkenomics kicks off on the 5th of November this year.
