Labour & Fianna Fail have picked who they will run for the European Elections in May for Ireland South.
Kilkennys Adrian O Higgins withdrew his name for selection by Fianna Fail before convention this weekend telling KCLR news it was in the best interest for the party and its strategy.
2 candidates were selected – sitting MEP Brian Crowley from Cork and Waterford based Kieran Hartley.
Meanwhile Ballyragget native Phil Prendergast will be the only Labour party candidate – although there is a subs panel with Kilkenny councillor Sean O’ hArgain 4th on that.
