A case is being taken against the compulsory Purchase Orders for the Kilkenny Northern Ring Road.
It’s understood that a number of Landowners have lodged objections with the High Court.
They are taking action against An Bord Pleanala over the granting of planning permission for the proposed route.
Notice of the CPOs was published last week.
An Bord Pleanala will now have to decide if they’ll defend their decision.
Any court hearing won’t happen before November.
