We’re into the last of the International Pan Celtic Festival in Carlow but there’s plenty to squeeze in before the official programme draws to a close.
Streetfest is underway on Lower Tullow Street promising family fun and live music from 12noon to 4pm today (Saturday, 11th April).
Speaking on the significance of the event, Mayor of Carlow, Cllr. Paul Doogue, emphasised the importance of community gatherings in fostering local pride and tourism, noting; “I am delighted to see Streetfest return in partnership with the Pan Celtic Festival. It provides a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy our local hospitality, and experience the unique cultural energy that defines Carlow. By pedestrianising Tullow Street, we are creating a safe, joyous space for everyone to enjoy the very best of our community spirit.”
