Leinster beaten by Toulon

Leinster are out of the Heinekenc Cup after a 29-14 loss to Toulon.

The French side put in a powerful display and drove on after half time with the sides level at 6-6 each.

Jimmy Gopperth penalties kept Leinster in touch but the games opening try proved crucial and with Xavier Chiocci crossing the line the visitors faced an uphill battle.

Jordi Murphy did score a 69th minute try to give Leinster hope but the French side-who lost Wilkinson to injury at half time kept their nerve to set up a semi final with Munster at the end of the month
