The Mayor of Kilkenny says the local man found dead in a doorway in Dublin yesterday was let down by the system.
Jonathan Corrie from the Castlecomer road in Kilkenny was sleeping rough near the Dail where his body was found yesterday morning.
Aged in his early 40’s he was a former pupil of Kilkenny College and had lived in Carlow for a time too before moving to Dublin.
Its understood his death may have been drugs related.
Kilkenny Mayor Andrew McGuinness says his death highlights the huge issues that exist.
