A spokesperson for a local Anti Pylon group says there’s nothing new in today’s report from the European Commission.
The study has failed to find conclusive proof of a link between pylons and human health risks and says there appears to be no link between cancer and the exposure to electro-magnetic sources.
However it warns that it’s not yet possible to reach firm conclusions in a number of areas, and says more research is needed.
John Leamy from local “Care for Clara” group says its only one element of the argument.
