Beauty therapists in Carlow and Kilkenny have welcomed the government’s move to ban under 18’s from using sunbeds.
Parents are being warned that from today its illegal to bring a child to a sunbed.

The Minister for Health is hoping the measure will protect children and also reduce the likelyhood of skin cancer in future generations.
Speaking to KCLR news Kathleen Keane,senior therapist at the Mount Wolsey hotel in Carlow feels policing the new rules will be vital.
