The local family carer of the year has expressed her concerns that scenes in last nights Prime Time programme may not be unique to the Mayo care home.
A number of residents at a unit in Aras Attracta in Swinford were shown being kicked and slapped, in footage filmed by an undercover reporter.
9 people have been suspended on full pay while investigations are carried out into the scenes shown in the programme.
Three separate inquiries are underway.
But Carlow Kilkenny carer of the Year Lorraine Ryan says she’s worried that more of this is going unreported.
