Irish Rail users in Kilkenny and Carlow could soon face major disruptions as more industrial action looks likely.
Unions say driver frustration is reaching ‘fever pitch’ – with a row over pay and conditions one of the main factors.
The National Bus and Rail Union says industrial action is being considered, but would be a “last resort”.
Irish Rail says it hasn’t been notified of any strike, or balloting of union members.
