Labour Cllr Willie Quinn of the Municipal District of Muinbheag joined Brian earlier on The KCLR Daily to discuss yesterday’s visit by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin to the locality. Cllr Quinn told Brian he was disappointed the Taoiseach didn’t mention the many road closures affecting the area. While Mayor Paul Doogue said it was a welcome visit by An Taoiseach, but he was concerned the impact on flooding wasn’t as evident.
