Local Elverys staff want your support as they bid to save their jobs

Staff of Elverys branches in Carlow and Kilkenny are looking for locals to get behind them in their bid to keep the local stores open.

An examiner was appointed to the Irish owned sports chain back in February and its understood a number of companies have already expressed an interest in buying it.

Up to 700 people are employed in branches around the country including 2 in Kilkenny on High Street & in Market Cross SC and 1 in Carlow on Tullow Street.
