Local farmers unhappy that details of their EU payments have been published

The Chairman of Kilkenny IFA says it is unfair that EU payments towards farmers have been made public.

John Bambrick was speaking after the Department of Agricultue published online the details of EU payments to all Irish farms.

IFA president Eddie Downey said over the weekend that farmers were angry with the move.

Speaking to KCLR, John Bambrick said he expects it all to be forgotten about soon, but thinks the details should not have been published.
