Local Fianna Fáil selection for General Election now complete

The three local Fianna Fáil candidates for the upcoming general election have now been confirmed.

Sitting TDs John McGuinness and Bobby Aylward were the only two in Kilkenny to put their names forward for selection last night.

Carlow Councillor Jennifer Murnane O’Connor was also selected at a seperate convention on Monday night.

Meanwhile,
Fine Gael’s 2 candidates were also decided on Monday and to complete the week of selection conventions locally, Sinn Féin will meet tomorrow in the Talbot Hotel in Carlow.
