A local Government TD says that Carlow is beginning to see signs of recovery.
Carlow/Kilkenny Fine Gael Deputy Pat Deering was speaking as new figures show unemployment in the county has dropped by just over 12% in 2014.

The Government hopes to see the national rate of unemployment fall below 10% next year.
And, Mr Deering says he expects an increase in house building next year.
