The government needs to step up and stop the closure of rural Garda Stations in Carlow and Kilkenny.
That’s the call being made by the local spokesperson for the Garda Representative Association who is also urging the Justice Minister to reopen stations that have recently closed.
Locally, a number of stations have closed and been sold at auction in the past while.
Speaking to KCLR, Ger Comerford says more resources are needed to stop these closures.
