Local parents of children with special needs say they’re being left in the dark about funding for respite care this side of Christmas.
Linda Meagher and a number of other families held a protest last week in Kilkenny following the closure of a respite service at St Patrick’s in November.

They claim they were told at a meeting that respite funds are with St Patricks but need HSE approval to be released.
Linda Meagher told KCLR News says they’re not very confident of getting what they’re looking for.
