Soldiers from the James Stephens Barrack in Kilkenny are being deployed to the Lebanon in exactly four weeks time.
They are training hard ahead of their departure dated on the 17th of May.
They’re undergoing Mission Readiness Exercises in the Glen of Imaal today (Tuesday).
Leiutenent Shane Flood told KCLR News that the troops will be tested with simulated situations that they might run into overseas.
