Carlow’s Special Olympian Anita O’Connor will switch on the Christmas lights in Carlow Town later this evening.
The official turning on ceremony will mark the launch of Carlow’s Christmas festival and Santa and his sleigh will make his first official visit to the town.
It’s at the Liberty Tree, Potato market in Carlow Town at 5pm.
Speaking to KCLR, Anita O’Connor says its an honour.
