More local sports-grounds hit by raiders

Yet more local sports grounds have been targeted by raiders.

Erins Own GAA club and Deen Celtic soccer club in Castlecomer were both hit this week.

Its prompted another warning from Gardai to clubs to ensure that no valuables are left at their grounds or in cars or dressing rooms while players are training.

Meanwhile the medical centre in Callan was broken into last night.

And theres reports that cars outside the National school in Bigwood Mullinavat had their windows smashed this afternoon.

Its understood Gardai are there investigating this lunchtime.
