Local student in stable condition following stabbing last night
A local student is in a stable condition after being stabbed on a night out in Waterford last night.
The teenager was involved in a row on John Street at about 11 o’clock.

Last night, while queueing outside a nightclub on John Street in Waterford City, he got into an altercation with a man.
Gardaí say a second man then joined the row and local student – who’s understood to be from Carlow – was stabbed a number of times in the stomach.
