Tributes continue to pour in for Olympic Champion Ronnie Delany who has died at the age of 91.
The Olympic Federation of Ireland has expressed “deep sadness” at the passing of the 1956 1500 metre champion who made his name on the college circuit in America before achieving international track success – both indoors and outdoors.
The Wicklow native, who had a stint with the Army Cadets and also sold vacuum cleaners in Carlow and Kilkenny during his teens, was remembered on this morning’s KCLR Daily.
