Local woman is trying to raise money for a cancer gene test

A Carlow woman is looking to raise 2 thousand euro for a cancer gene test.

30-year-old Jacqueline Curran was undergoing treatment for breast-cancer and has just recently been given the all-clear.

She and her family are hoping an event in Éire Óg clubhouse next week will raise the funds needed.

Speaking to KCLR, Jacqueline outlined why this test is so important.
