The people of Carlow have been generously giving their time and money to the new St Clare’s Hospitality Food Kitchen.
Work is well underway on the new restaurant – and it is hoped it will open this April.
A crew of volunteers is continuing to deliver weekly food parcels to people in Carlow and surrounding areas who find themselves in need.
Volunteers devised a “wish list” so that locals can help to kit out the new food kitchen.
One of the driving forces behind the project, Fr John Dunphy, says one woman has already offered to purchase a boiler at a cost of €1400.
If you would like to purchase anything from the wish list for the St Clare’s Hospitality-Food Kitchen you can contact the Graiguecullen parish office on 059 9141833.
