The exact location of a spider infested house in Carlow remains a mystery today.
It emerged that the National Exotic Animal Sanctuary had been called out to an abandoned home in the county to destroy more than 100 deadly spiders there.
It’s understood the creatures had been bought online by a man living there who left them behind after he moved and included a number of black widow and funnel-web spiders.
