A man was arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Carlow yesterday.
It’s after a quantity of cannabis herb was discovered during the search of a premises in Bagenalstown.
The drugs believed to be worth around €1,700 were seized, a man was arrested and questioned and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
Meanwhile Gardaí say five people were arrested for drink driving in Carlow at the weekend while they dealt with 11 public order incidents.
