Man arrested in connection with Hacketstown drug seizure is charged

A man arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Hacketstown on Tuesday has been charged.

The man, aged in his 30s, appeared before a special sitting of Gorey District Court yesterday evening.

During the search, gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €136,000, cocaine valued at €38,000, Valium tablets worth €2,000, along with vapes, vape liquid and a quantity of cash.

The seized drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis, and investigations are ongoing.
