The man who bought a €6m Lotto ticket in Kilkenny last week says it was like an out of body experience when he realised he’d won.
The young man, who wants to stay anonymous picked up his cheque at Lotto Headquarters yesterday afternoon.
The €8 quickpick was sold in Spar Top Oil in Irishtown on Tuesday for Wednesday’s draw.
Paula McEvoy from the National Lottery says he was on a high after his life-changing win.
He travelled to Dublin with his wife and some close family members to collect his winnings.
