Man caught during attempted burglary of Kilkenny Greyhound Track

A person was arrested during an attempted burglary in Kilkenny early this morning.

The man in his early 20s broke into the offices of the Greyhound Track on the Freshford Road at about 6am this morning.

The alarm was triggered and the Gardaí arrived on the scene.

He was arrested, property was recovered from him and he’s being held in Kilkenny Garda Station.
