A man in his 20’s has been charged in connection with a fatal assault on the Hebron Road in Kilkenny.
John Cash (40’s) died in hospital of his injuries following the incident which happened just before lunchtime on Tuesday.
The man arrested at the scene was questioned by Gardaí in Kilkenny.
He is due before Carlow District Court this morning.
