The man who died after falling on a Welsh mountain at the weekend has been named as Carlow-native John Wynne.
The 61-year-old was walking in the Snowdonia mountains with his daughter on Sunday when it’s understood he slipped down a valley.
Mr Wynne had been living in the UK where he worked as Head of Finance with Hawksmoor Investment Management.
In a statement on their website, the company’s CEO said they are devastated to have lost “a valued and admired friend and colleague”.
The Department of Foreign Affairs have told KCLR News they are prepared to provide consular assistance to John’s family if required.
