A man has been impaled while carrying out construction work in a shopping centre in Carlow.
He was working on a commercial unit in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre when he fell through a suspended ceiling and an object went through his arm.
He’s been taken to St Luke’s Hospital with his injuries and the Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
