The man killed in a car crash near Ballon on Friday Evening has been name as 39 year old Thomas Connors, from Bunclody in County Wexford.
The accident occurred just before 5pm on Friday on the N80 on the Carlow side of Ballon near Carlow Pre Cast.

Two people who sustained injuries in the other car remain in ICU in St Luke’s Hospital, but are stable.
