Man mugged in broad daylight in Carlow

A man in his 20’s was assaulted and robbed yesterday in Carlow Town while walking along the Athy Road.

At around 1 o clock, he was approached by two other men who roughed him up and took his wallet and other property.

He ran to the nearby Garda Station to raise the alarm and they chased and caught the thieves who were in custody in Carlow Garda Station
