A rally to highlight the issues with animal welfare in the country is happening in Kilkenny today.
The ‘Unite for Animal Welfare’ demonstration starts at Nowlan Park from around 1.30pm this afternoon and will then move down to the Parade in the city where they’ll be talks from a number of animal-rights activists.
