The Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland is visiting Carlow today.
Sinn Féin’s Martin McGuinness will be meeting local businesses in Carlow Town before heading to Tullow to give an oration at the site of Thomas Traynor’s monument.
He’ll also be given a guided tour of Carlow County Museum and the Delta Centre before finishing with a public meeting in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel from 7 o’clock.
Speaking to KCLR, the Deputy First Minister said he’s also here to lend his support to Kathleen Funchion.
