Why should the country bear the cost of a quango that is simply out of control?
Thats the question being posed by Fianna Fails John McGuinness who says its time that board members of Irish Water to resign.
It follows weekend revelations about the companys bonus scheme – his party wants the Government to block the payments believed to be worth up to 19 per cent of some employees’ salaries.
Deputy McGuinness wants the utility company to be subjected to more scrutiny.
