“Parents and guardians are the most important people in a Child’s life”
The words of Mairéad Maddock from Carlow Youth Services who was speaking ahead of tonight’s meeting for adults concerned about recent tragic deaths in the county.
The meeting has been organised following two young suicides in the space of eight weeks.
It takes place in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel at 7:30pm.
Speaking to KCLR, Mairéad says parents should go straight to their GP if they fear their child may be struggling.
