Mixed day for local teams in Leinster Championship action

Despite the game having to moved from Aughrim to Arklow, Bennettsbridge pulled away late on to record an 0-18 to 1-6 victory over Bray Emmetts.

They only lead by two points to 10 minutes to go.

Bennettsbridge will play their Leinster Final in 3 weeks time and have a home venue.
Glenmore also had to move venue due to the weather conditions, but it didn’t matter as they hammered Dublin side Scoil Ui Chonaill by 3-20 to 0-1.

They’ll now face St Fechins of Louth in the Leinster Junior Hurling Semi Final after they defeated Carlow Town hurling club 11 points to 5 up in Darver.

That game is on the 22nd.
Down by a point at half time Grange put in a storming finish to defeat Barrowhouse of Laois in the Leinster Junior football quarterfinal at Netwatch Cullen Park .

The final score was 1-11 to 10 points,

Grange will meet Curraha of Meath in the semi-final on November 23rd at a Meath venue.

Meanwhile in the Leinster Minor Football Championship, Palatine lost out to Moorefield 2-11 to 1-10.
