A South Kilkenny man wants to stake his claim on Kilkennys most famous building.
Walter O Dunphy from Mooncoin says he is a direct descendant of the ancient Kings of Ossory the O’Donnachda’s who lived in the impressive Kilkenny Castle hundreds of years ago.
Now he wants to follow them and set up residence there.
Walter says he has submitted papers to the OPW and is awaiting their response.
