More cars were bought in Carlow than anywhere in Ireland else last year

More cars were bought in Carlow last year than any other place in the Country.

A new report by Carzone.ie says 3 in 5 or 59% of Carlow People changed their car in 2015.

Black is the most popular colour car in Carlow and Volkswagen was the most searched for model.

Meanwhile almost 50 percent of people in Kilkenny also bought a new or second hand car still way above the National average of 42 percent.

The Ford Focus was the most popular model in Kilkenny and black is also the most popular colour car.

The statistics were compiled from multiple sources including Cartell, Carzones own web searches and surveys they carried out.
