The amount of people buying new cars locally has increased on this time last year.
Official national figures released this week by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that new car registrations for the first six months of this year are up by 25% per cent on last year.
Speaking to KCLR, Ward Kinsella of Barlo Nissan in Kilkenny says the national trend is being reflected locally with almost 200 new cars registered in Kilkenny in just the last couple of days.
