Mother of Chada boys thanks locals for their support

The mother of the Ballinkillen boys murdered by their father last year has paid tribute to locals for their support.

Sanjeev Chada strangled 10 year old Eoghan and 5 year old Ruairi on the 29th of July last year, before attempting to take his own life in a car crash.

The 44 year old was given two life sentences for the killings yesterday.

Kathleen Chada says her friends and neighbours have been ‘incredible’ in their support since it happened.

But she says, like the day of their funeral, getting through yesterday very difficult.
