Muine Bheag Vocational School calling for enrolments ahead of this evening’s deadline

Today is the last day for extra enrolments at Muine Bheag Vocational School in Bagenalstown.

The enrolments process re-opened last week for a short time only.

KCLR news understands that a stop had been put on enrolments, but this was relaxed to see if the school could boost it’s numbers of future students.

It follows the announcement last month that the school is due to close in 2018 due to low numbers enrolling.

An update on their Facebook page is calling on locals to enrol at the school, in the hope that the proposed closure can be overturned.
