The future of Kilkenny GAA is on display in Mullinavat as their annual Festival of Hurling and Camogie concludes today (Sunday).
The focus yesterday was on camogie, while today hurling takes centre stage.
Event coordinator Angelique Connolly says the passion of the young players has made the hard work worth it.
“It’s a big undertaking to take on something like this, but when you see the warm-up earlier on and all those teams together out on the pitch, and the girls, all those under-10 girls are just buzzing, and you know that that’s the future of camogie. So it’s amazing to see, you know they’re going to get a great enjoyment. They don’t care about the weather. So, for us as a club, it’s it’s a great occasion. Yeah, and we’re really proud of it.” said Angelique,
