‘Never leave valuables in your car’ – the message from local Gardaí after number of thefts in past week

Local Gardaí are warning locals not to leave valuables on display in their parked cars.

The call comes after there were 6 thefts from cars in the Carlow and Kilkenny area in the past week alone.

Locals are being advised to always lock your car, and not to leave items visible.

Sergeant Catherine O’Gorman told KCLR a robbery can happen very quickly.
